Although bomb threats are uncommon, every threat must be taken seriously and handled according to established procedures.

The primary objective during a bomb threat is to safely evacuate children, clients, staff, and visitors while allowing law enforcement and emergency personnel to assess the situation.

Employees should remain calm and follow all directions provided by administration and emergency responders.

Important Reminders

  •  Evacuate immediately.

  •  Maintain accountability.

  •  Follow directions from administration and law enforcement.

  •  Do not investigate suspicious items.

  •  Remain at the evacuation location until authorized to leave.
