Clear Communication During Emergencies
Although color codes are useful during drills, actual emergencies should be announced using the name of the emergency whenever possible.
Example:
Instead of “Code Yellow – Bomb Drill”
Use “Bomb Threat – Evacuate the Building”
Using emergency terminology reduces confusion and improves communication during high-stress situations.
